I find change exciting and most of my art work is inspired by changing environmental factors and the elements which create or cause those changes – the seasons – the wind and rain – the heat and cold – the interdependence and interconnectedness of all living things and their effect on each other. Most of my life has been ‘on farm’ so there is a feast of material for ideas.

My tendency is to approach my work in differing ways using a variety of mediums.  Currently ink is the favourite which is used in most if the illustrations.
