An extract from Nola Taylor’s artist statement for Shine:  An earth air combination, I lack fire and water “Crying Over Spilt Tea ” is about my yearning for both and a recognition that humankind is always in transition and searching for an ultimate resting place.  This feeling of transience is also the dilemma faced by ” Celia ” my alter ego from the middle ages.   She both beguiles and repels, the bling is there but the space between her eyes is as vast as the outback.
