Borderline was well represented among the winners of the Inverell Art Society Competetive Exhibition 2011, judged by  Tanya Robertson-Cuninghame, Neville Field, and Doreen Winkley (Floral Art Judge).

John Donnelly's 'Habitat'Margaret Dowe's '365 Cups of Tea & Counting'Our president John Donnelly won this year’s Special Feature ‘Contemporary Art’, with his abstract piece ‘Habitat’.  Judge Tanya Robertson-Cuninghame was a little lost for words, being smitten with the piece.  In second place was one of our newest members, Nadia Varelle Kliendanze with ‘Macintyre River (A Bird’s Eye View)’.  Welcome to Borderline Nadia!

  Maggie Brockie's 'Early Morning Dip'

Margaret Oban Dowe won the 3D section (Pottery, Woodcraft, Sculpture) with her giant leaf constructed from tea bags, titled ‘365 Cups of Tea & Counting’.  In second place was Maggie Brockie with her delightful platypus ‘Early Morning Dip’.
