Painting (with acrylics) is my main activity, though I would like to further an interest in printing from collagraphs. The imagery is usually based on landscape themes, and ranges from modern representational to abstract. I have a number of paintings on the go at any one time, and deciding when a painting is “finished” is often difficult.
I am particularly interested in western art from the late nineteenth and twentieth century – in Australia and overseas. The artists I most admire are Paul Cezanne, Mark Rothko and Fred Williams.
